Cornucopia 2020

Friday November 6th – Sunday 29th November

Good news for the foodies out there! Whistler’s yearly celebration of Food + Drink aka Cornucopia, returns with a fantastic line up of intimate events in 2020. In the spirit of social distancing, this year will focus on smaller experiences with the emphasis being on great quality and attention to detail across the board.

There’s a whole host of opportunities to discover something new, sample local and international produce and mingle with some of the best chefs, sommeliers, distillers and mixologists out there.

In exchange of some larger events from previous years, this year’s lineup welcomes the new Paired Dinners where some of our favourite local establishments and noteworthy chefs pair a scrumptious several course dinner with either Wine or Whiskey- what’s not to love!

What not to miss:

Drinks Seminars:

Looking for a way to impress guests at your next dinner party or just generally improve your vino knowledge?  Snatch up a ticket for one of the many drink seminars and take a journey around the world through guided wine tastings…

Check out Top Value Wines and harvest some knowledge on the best wines to pick up from your local retailer to improve that ‘house wine’ selection. Or start your Sunday right at the best of BC’s best bubbles and see just how our regions sparkling measure up against some of the best in the world. Tickets from $50

For the Whiskey lovers out there, give Beauty and the Bane a go, a single cask Whiskey event held on Saturday 28th  at the Conference Centre. Guests will taste six single barrel whiskies paired carefully with 6 plates ranging from Veal to Candied chilli bacon and profiteroles. You’re unlikely to taste flavours like these again and once the bottles gone, it’s gone for good! Tickets $52

Bar + Restaurant:

Splash out and enjoy Bar Oso’s Spanish Tapas and Cocktail tasting. Hosted at Whistlers premium cocktail location, you’ll be treated to the best mixologists whipping up the finest cocktails whilst head chef Jorge Munoz creates 5 delectable tapas dishes to match. Expect to see spirits such as Santa Tereza Rum, Cazadores Tequila and Bombay Sapphire Gin. Tickets starting from $198

If you can only commit to one event this November let it be the Cornucopia closing Dinner, the final celebratory dinner of the month. Held at the famed Bearfoot Bistro, attendees will indulge in a six-course meal prepared by Executive chef Melissa Walters paired with wine from Evolve Cellars, Time Winery and the McWatters Collection portfolio. Tickets $175
